Privacy Policy

This policy describes how CMDLabs LLC handles information for Reps & Shine, our exercise-based Android alarm app.

Movement stays on your phone

Reps & Shine processes camera frames on your device while you use movement tracking or personalized calibration. It uses those frames to estimate movement and progress. The app does not save or upload camera video, and does not use the camera to identify you.

Information stored on your device

Your alarm schedules, preferences, personalized calibration profiles, and alarm activity history are stored locally on your phone. Calibration profiles help tracking adapt to your movement range. Activity history records completed, canceled, and other alarm outcomes.

Reps & Shine does not require an account, contain advertising, or provide cloud synchronization. The app does not send your camera frames, calibration profiles, activity history, or alarm settings to CMDLabs or an analytics service.

Your controls and retention

Local information remains until removed through available app controls, Android's clear-app-storage function, or uninstalling the app. You can clear activity history in the app. Clearing app storage removes configured alarms, calibration, settings, and history. Review your alarms after reinstalling or resetting app data.

The app disables Android app-data backup and transfer in its configuration. You can manage camera and other permissions in Android Settings; changing permissions may affect movement tracking or alarm operation.

Permissions

Camera access supports movement detection and calibration. Alarm, notification, and full-screen capabilities schedule and present alarms. A foreground service keeps alarm output active while an alarm rings. These permissions support the alarm experience; they do not upload your workout information.

Feedback and support emails

The feedback action opens your email app with our support address. You review and send the message yourself. The app does not automatically attach camera recordings, logs, or workout information.

If you email us, we receive your email address and the message, attachments, or device details you choose to provide. Our email provider processes that correspondence so we can respond to your request. We keep support correspondence, including resolved requests, until you request deletion. To request deletion, email privacy@cmdlabs.us. Please avoid sending sensitive information or camera recordings.

External services and this website

Links to Google Play, your browser, and your email app open external services governed by their own privacy practices. Google Play may process installation, diagnostic, or device information under Google's policies and your account and device settings.

This policy and our support pages are hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to serve and secure these pages under its privacy statement. These pages have no advertising, analytics scripts, or contact forms added by CMDLabs.

Age audience

Reps & Shine is intended for people ages 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, contact us to request deletion.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as app behavior changes. The updated policy will appear at this URL with a revised effective date.
